About The Position

The Site Manager will reassign contractors between work centers to best meet daily flight schedule requirements. This role ensures an adequate number of qualified personnel are cross-trained to launch and recover all T/M/S aircraft across all hours of operation as defined within the PWS. The Site Manager also ensures contractor personnel support good order, productivity, and cohesiveness within the squadron.

Requirements

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university in engineering, business, logistics, management, math, sciences, or professional aeronautics with 14+ years in the performance and execution of U.S. Navy requirements.
  • OR High school graduate or equivalent with 20+ years in the performance and execution of U.S. Navy requirements.
  • Within the 14 years of experience, at least three years of management experience in technical program/project work related to U.S. Naval aircraft maintenance.
  • Experience in establishing policy and procedures, training, and safety programs.
  • Experience managing operating budgets and fund expenditures for supplies and/or equipment.
  • Experience in flight operation plans, programs, and evaluation of maintenance and supply capability to support such programs.
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance plans, procedures, and policies with collective experience in monitoring and directing maintenance and supply activities.
  • Extensive background in aircraft maintenance and material support with a minimum of 15 years of experience, with 10 years of the last 15 years in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification.
  • Must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge.

  • Formulate policies, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources.
  • Establish policy and procedures, training, and safety programs.
  • Manage operating budgets and fund expenditures for supplies and/or equipment.
  • Oversee flight operation plans, programs, and evaluation of maintenance and supply capability to support such programs.
  • Oversee aircraft maintenance plans, procedures, and policies with collective experience in monitoring and directing maintenance and supply activities.
