PLA BuyerPauls Valley, OK
Onsite

About The Position

Pallet Logistics of America (PLA) is seeking a hands-on Site Manager to lead our on-site pallet management operation at the Walmart Distribution Center in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. This is a small, highly visible operation currently consisting of approximately four employees, including pallet sorters and a Team Lead. Our team works directly with Walmart to inspect, sort, and manage wooden pallets moving through the distribution center. Reusable pallets are identified and returned to Walmart’s pallet supply, while damaged pallets are separated and routed to PLA facilities for repair. The operation also manages white-wood pallets that may be sold, creating an important revenue stream for the site. The Site Manager will be responsible for leading the team, maintaining accurate pallet inventory, managing operational performance, controlling costs, and overseeing the site’s profit and loss performance. This position is ideal for a leader who is comfortable working alongside employees on the floor while also managing the financial, inventory, customer service, and administrative responsibilities of the operation. Job Summary The Site Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, financial performance, inventory management, and daily operations of PLA’s on-site pallet management operation within the Walmart Distribution Center. This position ensures pallets are properly identified, sorted, tracked, and routed based on condition and customer requirements. The Site Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, maximizing the value of white-wood pallet sales, controlling labor and operating expenses, and managing the site’s profit and loss performance.
