About The Position

Point Breeze Credit Union is currently seeking an Office Manager for our Westminster location! Point Breeze Credit Union offers easy, reliable banking by helping our members save time and money. Under direct supervision of the Senior Vice President, Chief Member Relationship Officer, the Office Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of a full-service office. Provides total quality service by ensuring prompt delivery of services to the members in compliance with state regulations and Point Breeze Credit Union policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Two-Year College Degree or Completion of Specialized Course of Study at a Business or Trade School, or Completion of a Specialized and Extensive In-House Training or Apprenticeship Program.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of similar or related experience.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Solid analytical abilities.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of teller, member service, loan policies, understanding of office operations and function, and knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the office is open and ready to conduct business each business day.
  • Assist Member Service Specialists and others to resolve adjustments.
  • Authorize adjustments.
  • Ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
  • Promote cross sales of the credit unions products and services.
  • Supervise and coach office personnel to assure a trained, motivated, and professional staff capable of providing services in a timely and accurate manner ensuring positive member relations.
  • Schedule assign work to, counsel, establish performance expectations and recommend the necessary discipline and/or discharge of subordinate staff members, while maintaining required personnel documentation.
  • Responsible for all employee evaluations within the office department.
  • Provide such member services as explaining savings and checking programs, opening new accounts, IRA’s, approving checks and dealing with members with special concerns.
  • Complete consumer loan processes with members.
  • Ability to approve loans within lending authority.
  • Perform all Assistant Office Manager duties, in their absence.
  • Research and resolve member inquiries, explain specific policies and procedures.
  • Assist office personnel by answering questions and resolving complex work-related problems.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with outside vendors to resolve problems and remain current on new product developments.
  • Keep abreast of new rules and regulations that may impact Office Operations.
  • Adhere to all credit union compliance requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) guidelines and regulations as explained to me and as appropriate for my position.
