About The Position

The Site Manager plays a critical role in leading day-to-day operations and ensuring the successful delivery of services across client sites. This position is responsible for overseeing all site activities, including operational performance, workforce management, financial accountability, client relations, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working collaboratively with clients, site supervision, operations leadership, and functional support teams, the Site Manager helps maintain FLINT's commitment to safe, reliable, and high-quality project outcomes. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, business acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to foster positive relationships with employees and clients alike. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations leader who is passionate about people management, customer service, operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory, leadership, or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven understanding of human resources and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet competing priorities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education or a degree in Business, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in functional disciplines such as human resources, recruitment, supply chain, finance, or related operational support areas is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and successful service delivery by managing and overseeing all site activities and operational functions.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, strategies, and procedures that support business objectives.
  • Monitor site performance and drive operational excellence.
  • Support achievement of company goals, targets, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support profitable and sustainable operations by managing costs and revenues to deliver on contractual and operational performance objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance and resource utilization.
  • Support contract execution and operational planning.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and maximize value.
  • Maintain accountability for site-level business results.
  • Build, develop, and support high-performing teams by managing the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, workforce planning, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to supervisors and field personnel.
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Support employee engagement and development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer partnerships by serving as a key point of contact for operational clients.
  • Build strong relationships through frequent and proactive communication.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through responsive and professional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with client representatives to address operational challenges and opportunities.
  • Strengthen long-term partnerships through consistent engagement and support.
  • Promote FLINT's commitment to safety and quality excellence by leading incident investigations as required and supporting site supervision during investigations.
  • Review and audit incident investigations and proactive safety initiatives.
  • Reinforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Work closely with HSE, HR, Finance, and other functional support teams.
  • Champion a culture of Safety and Quality Always.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Support strategic initiatives and operational best practices.
  • Contribute to ongoing business growth and performance improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
