About The Position

We are recruiting a Site Manager for one of our clients, an international family-owned food manufacturing group operating several production sites worldwide. The US entity, located in Long Island, operates its own industrial facility. The Site Manager will play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, strengthening supply chain capabilities, and supporting the company’s commercial ambitions in the US market.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
  • Solid experience within the food manufacturing industry (mandatory).
  • Experience in environments involving raw material transformation and industrial production processes.
  • Successfully led a manufacturing site or business unit, with direct responsibility for operational performance, financial results and cross-functional leadership.
  • Solid experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams covering Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and commercial activities.
  • Comfortable driving business performance through clear KPIs and P&L management.
  • Strong understanding of the business and market dynamics.
  • Comfortable interacting with commercial teams and key clients.
  • Recognized for leadership, ability to drive change, and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to bring structure while remaining pragmatic and close to the field.
  • Experience working within an international environment.
  • Comfortable interacting with multicultural stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall performance of the U.S. site.
  • Lead the local leadership team and ensure the achievement of operational, commercial and financial objectives while supporting the long-term development of the business.
  • Lead all site operations, including production, maintenance, quality and supply chain, with a strong focus on improving processes, reliability and scalability.
  • Oversee and continuously optimize the Supply Chain organization to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary management team covering Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Sales.
  • Ensure alignment across all functions to achieve the site's operational and financial objectives.
  • Accountable for monitoring the site's financial performance, driving profitability and ensuring the achievement of key business KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team, participate in key client meetings, attend trade shows, and contribute to developing relationships with major US customers.
  • Handle strategic topics related to customer satisfaction and operational performance.
  • Ensure that the site meets high standards in terms of productivity, quality and food safety, while complying with US regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the overall leader of the site, developing the management team, setting the direction, driving accountability and serving as the key interface between the U.S. organization and the Group's senior leadership.
