About The Position

DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. In this role, you’ll manage a 5-15k sq ft distribution center, the local warehouse operating team, and be responsible for ensuring we maintain high quality for our customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of team leadership experience in high-volume operations (retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfillment, logistics, or operations).
  • Proven track record of developing people and delivering results.
  • Managed high-performance teams of 10+ employees.
  • Act like an owner, supporting a 24/7 business across multiple shifts.
  • Solve problems from first principles and resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
  • Thrive in ambiguous, startup environments with rapid change and learning.
  • Analytical and data-first problem solver.
  • Experience using Excel or Google Sheets to analyze data, including basic formulas and pivot tables.
  • A college degree or relevant professional work experience.
  • Flexibility in schedule, including some late-night and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and retain a team of Shift Leads and Operations Associates.
  • Build a strong, positive culture and drive employee satisfaction.
  • Delegate daily tasks and ensure high performance from the team.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a DashMart warehouse, including preparing food in a light-prep kitchen if applicable.
  • Ensure site processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
  • Manage scheduling and labor budget.
  • Ensure the warehouse meets site-level metric goals.
  • Lead the team in providing customers with the best possible experience, maintaining key quality metrics like order accuracy and fulfillment speed.
  • Collaborate with central teams (inventory, training) to provide the team with necessary tools and resources.
  • Use data to identify pain points or inefficiencies in warehouse operations and processes.
  • Design, build, and execute process improvement projects to enhance warehouse operations, quality metrics, and employee experience.
