About The Position

Manages all operational, administrative and life support functions and activities at the designated site. Directs the accomplishment of site-specific program goals and monitors and reports their achievement. Manages an operating budget, manpower, resources, and facilities in performance of contract responsibilities. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and program ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS). Responsible for ensuring contract requirements are met at the respective site. Ensures sufficient resources are provided to meet PWS requirements, Amentum Internal policies and procedures, and ensures site personnel adhere to established Host Nation laws, US Government directives, and Amentum policies and procedures. Supervises all contract activities and serves as the principal representative for the program in all matters pertaining to the contract at respective site. Attends Program Management Review conferences and briefs senior company and US Government officials on site activities and issues affecting the program performance. Activities include the functions of personnel and finance; training; support services; vehicle and fuels related maintenance; supply and inventory management; freight traffic management; equipment major repair and maintenance; and facilities maintenance. Performs overall planning, coordinates the efforts of detailed planning and continually measures and analyzes progress. Provides for sufficient and viable contract performance through effective leadership of the site, to include compliance with quality and safety/environmental standards. Provides the leadership necessary to effectively form and manage quality teams. Is able to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies and other challenging situations. Provides for the welfare of the personnel and the enhancement of the contract, to include optimizing the balance between resources of manpower, equipment, time, materials and money. Responsible for keeping the Company, Corporate Management, and interested US Government personnel appraised on current status of operations and maintenance and any other special interest items. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel, and Word programs.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise others.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as good decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet goals while working independently under limited supervision.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information and exercise discretionary judgment.
  • Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation driver’s license.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Undergraduate degree from accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 14 years management experience in related type programs is acceptable in lieu of an undergraduate degree.
  • 10 years of management experience in related type programs.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid US Passport.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of operations research/systems analysis methods and techniques is desired.
  • Experience managing available resources in time sensitive situations preferred.
  • Experience with financial and costing procedures preferred.
  • Experience with work production and scheduling preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams within one or more of the functional areas (Supply, Transportation, Munitions, Vehicle and Harvest Falcon Equipment Maintenance, Fuels Mobility Support Maintenance, Medical Supply and Maintenance, or Aerospace Ground Equipment Maintenance) is preferred.
  • Experience in ISO 9001 is desired.

  • Completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams.
  • Conforming to the AMENTUM Quality Policy and carrying out job activities in compliance with applicable AMENTUM Quality System documents and customer contracts.
  • Reading and understanding Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities.
  • Reading, understanding and implementing the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
