About The Position

The Shift Manager oversees day, afternoon, or midnight shifts, managing janitorial operations and administrative activities. This role ensures quality control measures are in place to maintain high service levels according to customer specifications and contract requirements. Key duties include conducting inspections, controlling inventory, maintaining equipment, and fostering excellent client relations. The position reports directly to the Site Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
2 to 4 years experience in janitorial services or service equivalent in a supervisory capacity
Excellent Organizational, Customer Service and Management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer experience, Google emails and Word
Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Manages and directs the operations of assigned cleaning staff on the assigned shift. This includes both regular cleaning operations and specialty operations.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies
Ensures that all required paperwork and reports are submitted time and accurately.
Positions may be assigned regular cleaning duties when necessary.
Conducts regulatory and safety awareness training.
Suggests to management that Corrective disciplinary action and positive reinforcement may be required for the airport staff.
Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.
Maintain daily communication within your account with cleaners and leads to resolving issues or problems. Investigate employee incidents and accidents.
Ensure that customer cleaning specifications are being followed and check regularly on customer satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned by management.
