About The Position

The Site Manager Installation will be able to perform on site activities, coordinates the commissioning & start-up activities with the customer. Site Manager shall have knowledge of main customer plant processes, managing of job cost control in terms of project and resource scheduling. The role coordinates the work with suppliers who provide specialist services, monitoring activities in compliance with EHS regulations, organizing the work activities and signal unsecure situations and promote working safe. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Requirements

Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Equivalent of + 10 years’ experience in the field
Strong understanding of thermodynamics and thermodynamic cycles as they relate to heavy duty turbines.
Prior gas turbine testing experience
Successful completion of required training programs is a minimum requirement.
Demonstrated progressive, responsible experience with various types of turbine generator equipment and site accountabilities is required.

Provide leadership and clear direction to project team in terms of project execution
Expert level. Able to act as a senior company rep on any outage for the unit qualified. Acts as project manager and mentor on complex projects
Experience with modeling and analysis programs for gas turbines.
Proficient in the use of computers and PC software.
Excellent customer, communication, and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English language.

Responsibilities

Attends all site coordination meetings.
Ensures that site work activities are reported daily to customer and GE
Ensures that TFAs have adequate resources (manpower, tools, technical documents, facilities, etc) to perform their tasks.
Coordinates activities of site TFA to ensure project schedule and quality goals are achieved
Ensures all TFA timesheets are correct and approvals as required are obtained.
Management of Subcontractor Companies: manpower, OEM specialists, (when applicable).
Ensures all reports and drawing “marked-up” are completed.
Ensures the application of applicable EHS safety rules.
Resolution of site non-conformances. Ensures non-conformances are communicated and managed through company tool with the appropriate HQs interfaces
Perform other duties as assigned
Travel may be required
Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
