The Army Aviation Aircraft Maintenance/Site Manager will manage all aspects of aircraft maintenance, ensuring all work is scheduled and performed safely and efficiently. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, reviewing employee performance, addressing personnel issues, generating assignments, and setting priorities. Responsibilities include performing scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery, corrosion control, inspections, and routine to complex maintenance of aircraft, sub-systems, and components. The position also entails performing engineering work orders for modifications and upgrades, interpreting technical manuals, and repairing electrical systems. Guidance and instruction on technical orders, checklists, and hazardous materials will be provided. The role is responsible for maintaining equipment schedules, monitoring parts and supply inventories, and ensuring material availability. Additionally, the Site/Maintenance Supervisor will offer technical guidance to Engineering staff, provide training on company equipment per OSHA regulations, and monitor annual training requirements. The role may also involve supervising aircraft/equipment movement, conducting foreign object damage prevention walks, and meeting with customers and senior leadership.
