About The Position

The Site Lead will be responsible for the overall success of the security program for their assigned installation. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of Guard Services, including the associated administrative functions such as conduct, performance, appearance, coordinating training, and scheduling of all assigned personnel. The Site Lead will inspect employees to ensure they are fit for duty, in compliance with all established dress and appearance standards, and possess all required equipment and credentials. Additionally, the Site Lead is responsible for interacting and coordinating all activities, complaints, incidents, and deviations of established procedures with the Director of Operations, Union Representatives (if applicable), and the local Government Security representative. Applicants selected will be subject to a background/security investigation and must be drug-free and remain drug-free during their period of employment. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations, Tatitlek Federal Services, LLC.

Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position and in scope.
Valid DCJS Security License
Valid State Driver’s License
Eligible to receive a DBIDS pass
Eligible for a NATO SECRET security clearance
Knowledge of LENEL access control system
Familiar with day-to-day operations of CCTV systems
Ability to obtain/maintain a NATO SECRET security clearance
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.

Responsibilities

Daily management of all clerical/administrative support functions.
Monitor performance, timecards, leave, and training needs.
Manage/Supervise assigned personnel: Responsible for making recommendations regarding the hiring, evaluating, and counseling employees; this includes recommending termination.
Responsible for the professional development/mentoring of subordinates to maximize the efficiency of the workforce.
Determine whether to intervene directly, ask for assistance as time permits, keep situations under control or surveillance, and report the incident or situation to the appropriate authority for handling.
Prepare, maintain, and disseminate duty rosters/schedules for workforce.
Track state Security Licensure status for all assigned employees: Ensure employees have all required licensure, certifications, and qualifications prior to allowing employees to perform duties.
Ensure employees complete all required training to maintain state Security Licensure.
Responsible for all assigned Property Vehicle Fleet: Ensure proper records, maintenance, and inspections are conducted/maintained for all assigned vehicles.
Report any issue/damage to Director of Security Services.
Equipment: Maintain proper records, control, and serviceability.
Report any issue/damage to Director of Operations.
Responsible for conducting/documenting Quality Control Audits/Inspections (of all shifts/employees) and reporting any deficiencies to Director of Operations.
Working with LENEL access control system, issue access badges, CCTV alarm monitoring, perform entry/exit control, vehicle/foot patrol duties, emergency and alarm response, conduct routine security checks and administrative inspections, identify/report security anomalies, and maintain security logbooks.
