About The Position

Clean Team is hiring a reliable and motivated Site Lead to manage evening janitorial operations at a client facility in Toledo, Ohio (43611). This is a working supervisor role responsible for leading a team, maintaining cleaning standards, and ensuring the building is secure and ready for the next day. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading by example in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
Previous janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to lead a team, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities

Responsibilities

Perform routine janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom sanitation, and trash removal
Lead and support team members during each shift to ensure work is completed efficiently and correctly
Cover cleaning tasks when team members are absent or areas require additional attention
Conduct nightly inspections and final walkthroughs to verify all areas meet company and client expectations
Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissue products
Maintain janitorial closets and equipment, including changing vacuum bags and properly storing cleaning tools and chemicals
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply or equipment needs to the Area Manager
Follow all safety procedures and ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Secure the building at the end of each shift by turning off lights, setting alarms, and locking doors
