About The Position

Modern Maintenance, Inc. is hiring janitorial workers for a lead position in a professional, unionized setting. This role involves cleaning duties as well as assisting the supervisor in maintaining the building. The shift is Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Union membership and dues are required after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
• Must be in the union

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms
• Empty trash containers
• Vacuum all carpeted floors
• Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
• Dust all horizontal surfaces high and low
• Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
• Notify supervisor of any problems
• Perform other janitorial duties as required
