The Site Lead Physician is a practicing primary care physician who provides clinical and operational leadership for the Boston Medical Center (BMC) Brighton or BMC South adult Primary Care practices of Boston Medical Center Health System (BMCHS). This role is central to the System strategy to support primary care access as BMCHS grows and provides the opportunity to develop, shape and lead these practice sites from the ground up. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting provider engagement, operational efficiency, and alignment with the system’s mission and goals. The Site Lead Physician serves as the clinical voice for the site, working collaboratively with practice management, nursing leadership, and system leaders. Fitting with BMCHS’s vision that primary care should serve the community in which it is located, the Site Lead is responsible for understanding the needs of the community and tailoring the practice as possible to fit the needs of the community it serves. This position will dually report to the Chief Clinical Officer of BMCHS or designee. The position will also maintain relationships with other physician leadership in Primary Care and Family Medicine at BMC Brighton, BMC South, and BMC Main Campus, and the BMC Brighton Department of Medicine. This position will interface operationally with management at BMC Brighton or South and the VP of Primary Care for BMCHS. Individuals for this role should be excited about the prospect of building and developing new sitesfor primary care. Individuals applying for this role should have at least 5 years’ experience practicing adult primary care and be board certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
