This role is for a Site Installation Lead in Fontana, CA, reporting to the Construction & Logistics Manager. The position involves leading a team to complete site installation projects and serving as the primary job-site representative for Crown Technical Systems. This role requires 90% overnight travel across the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in effectively leading a team of employees.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or a related field.
OSHA 30 Construction Certification is required (must obtain within the first 30 days of employment if not current).
Current Driver's License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report to operate company vehicles.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn assembly and wiring operations.
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written/computer communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving/critical thinking skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
Excellent understanding of tools (e.g., tape measures, impact drill, fall protection) and math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent knowledge of OSHA Safety Requirements.
Knowledge of handling, connecting, and safety requirements for installing 125VDC battery Systems.
Must have valid identification for air travel in accordance with TSA regulations.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in construction management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Training and developing onsite team members.
Overseeing the daily workflow and assignments of employees on the jobsite.
Sending end-of-day reports to the Construction Manager and Project Teams.
Communicating technical issues to the Construction Manager.
Reinstalling equipment on assigned jobsites.
Serving as the primary jobsite representative and Safety representative for Crown Technical Systems.
Communicating with team members to discuss and assign upcoming daily work assignments onsite.
Maintaining knowledge of processes and equipment used according to company policies and procedures.
Troubleshooting issues that arise on the jobsite and partnering with the Construction Manager and/or Engineers for guidance on complex issues.
Redlining all drawing changes that are needed.
Reviewing and verifying the quality of work done onsite to ensure it meets as-built drawings.
Tracking progress or changes to jobsite schedules and communicating information to team members.
Assisting with electrical and assembly installations as needed.
Ensuring employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Reporting/documenting any quality concerns, drawing issues, and missing/damaged material.
Ensuring all materials, drawings, and other documentation are available for job-site installations.
Sourcing missing/needed materials locally.
Completing safety and pre-start work documentation, including JHAs and tailgate meetings.
Organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of Company Vehicles.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
