About The Position

The Site IE Data Engineer will partner with site teams to develop and execute overall site FI activities to improve site performance by improving data management. This role is responsible for all data reporting and first-level analysis related to site performance KPI reporting and benchmarks. The individual will be the first point of contact for all data reporting systems for improvement and new tools implementation. The role is responsible for data integrity and adherence to established ways of calculation, management through tools, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct manufacturing site experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% for training or to support other sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a relationship-based team environment.
  • Certified in Problem Solving Methodologies or similar.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or actively working towards it.
  • Working knowledge of MSE FI tools (e.g., loss analysis).
  • Strong data acumen.
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI, RCLMS, and Production reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key user for digital solutions, providing first-level support and training.
  • Support the local deployment of digital solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital solutions.
  • Act as a local data steward, implementing standards for data sets in specific areas.
  • Define and control data with stakeholders.
  • Manage data quality issues, including data cleansing and validation.
  • Perform daily, weekly, periodically, and annual data reporting for line performance (e.g., TRS/OEE, run setup, re-use, destruction, line speeds, flow rates).
  • Report on data required for MTBF, MTBR, MTBS for selected lines within the site MSE deployment plan.
  • Actively participate in local and regional IE/MSE teams, providing functional support as needed.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of independence and collaboration, with influencing skills towards peers and site leadership.
