About The Position

The Site Finance Manager provides financial and operational insight and guidance to enhance performance and process efficiency in a distribution center environment. The role provides analytical support across Accounting and Finance activities—including month-end close, payroll, receivables, and payables—and operational activities such as warehouse productivity, labor efficiency, and throughput reporting and analysis. The position is based at the Newville location and serves the UL network, with potential support for sites involving multiple locations and/or customers. The manager represents DHL Supply Chain in customer meetings and leads discussions concerning billing, strategy, budgets, and complex commercial matters. The role works closely with customers, operations leaders, Finance, HR, Accounting, and Commercial Finance, providing analysis and support that informs business decisions and profitability. It also supports an orderly, safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for associates. The listed national salary range is $85,000–$150,000. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or four years of equivalent work experience.
At least five years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
Logistics industry experience.
Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles.
Advanced accounting knowledge, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Advanced communication and presentation skills, from C-suite to warehouse audiences.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and work as a team player.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong attention to detail.
Advanced financial skills in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical support for Accounting and Finance activities, including month-end close, payroll, receivables, and payables.
Provide analysis and support for operational activities, including warehouse productivity, labor efficiency, and throughput reporting.
Represent DHL Supply Chain in customer meetings and lead discussions on billing, strategy, and budgets.
Support complex commercial discussions and billing parameters, including flex budgeting, KPI penalties or incentives, and gain-share or pain-share arrangements.
Provide requested information to external customers concerning items on customer invoices.
Audit vendor payables for accuracy and confirm appropriate approvals are obtained before payment.
Execute daily customer and vendor contract requirements, identify accessorial activity, and ensure necessary documentation is available.
Work daily with Finance and HR associates, providing support and assistance as needed.
Support the Kronos application and set-up to ensure accurate hourly activity reporting.
Provide analytical support to General Managers, Managers, Supervisors, and operations personnel as needed.
Participate in daily activities that help ensure a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for associates.
Work directly with Accounting and Commercial Finance departments.
Prepare month-end close accrual and reclassification journal entries.
Assist with accounts receivable processing and collection as needed.
Assist with accounts payable processing as needed.
Reconcile purchase orders to support expense recognition.
Prepare daily and weekly labor analysis reports for operations productivity analysis.
Participate in collecting performance measurements consistent with customer, vendor, and site requirements.
