Before & After School Care- Site Director (Windsor school district)
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. The Site Director role offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful before- and/or after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. This role is ideal for educators with experience in teaching or classroom leadership, school administration or program coordination, paraprofessional or instructional support roles, youth programs, mentoring, or tutoring. Retired educators and school professionals are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Desire to lead, inspire, and make every kid feel like they belong
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, recreation, child development, etc.) OR At least 2 years of college and 910+ hours of verified experience working with kids (ages 4+) OR 3 years of verified experience + 6 college credit hours OR 40 hours of training related to school-age care

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
- Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
