Before and After School - Site Director
About The Position
AlphaBEST is hiring a part-time Site Director for its Before & After School Program in Dennis Yarmouth, Massachusetts, for the 2026/2027 school year. The Site Director leads a team of Guides and helps manage all aspects of the program site. The program offers students activities in fitness, the arts, technology, and other areas, and encourages curiosity through interest-based clubs. The role fosters a caring, family-oriented environment and positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30–9:10 a.m. and 2:45–5:00 p.m., with no weekends. AlphaBEST provides training for the role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
- Successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
- Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Guides delivering activities in fitness, the arts, technology, and other areas.
- Collaborate with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
- Train Guides to lead activities that encourage children's sense of wonder.
- Establish clubs based on students' interests and talents to encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity.
- Foster a caring, family-oriented environment and positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school.
