About The Position

The YMCA is seeking Site Directors for its Before and After School programs in the South Region (Perry Township and Beech Grove). Site Directors are responsible for the management and leadership of the program, including supervising staff, providing behavior management support for students, communicating with staff and families, and creating lesson plans. The role aims to foster social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth, embodying the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect. This position requires high levels of organization, energy, and a fun-loving attitude. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Requirements

• 2-4 years’ experience working directly with children
• Recognize the social-emotional, cognitive, and physical milestones youth experience during their journey from birth to career
• Organize, play, and keep program records effectively
• Understand goals and philosophy of the YMCA
• Capable of establishing and maintaining positive relationships with staff, program participants, and families
• Must be at least 21 years of age
