SITE DIRECTOR PACE (Danville PACE)
About The Position
The Site Director is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the center. The role oversees staff and the Interdisciplinary Team, ensures regulatory compliance and quality metrics, helps operate the center within financial expectations, and ensures that participants enrolled in the program receive quality care. The Site Director also contributes to program development by building community relationships and educating healthcare-system and community members about the program. The role supervises a team of approximately 10 to 40. A bachelor’s degree is required, or must be obtained within two years of employment. Candidates must have at least two years of experience working with frail and elderly people in a clinical setting and clinical experience relevant to the role. The organization provides the required certifications, which must be obtained within the stated timeframes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or obtain one within two years of employment.
- At least two years of work experience with frail and elderly people in a clinical setting.
- Clinical experience relevant to the role; examples include paramedic, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, registered nurse, athletic trainer, recreational therapy, and behavioral health.
- American Heart BLS certification within 30 days of hire; provided by the organization.
- Safe Serve Manager Certification within 90 days of hire; provided by the organization.
- First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire if not an RN, LPN, or EMT; provided by the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the center.
- Directly and indirectly manage staff affiliated with the center.
- Serve as a liaison between administration and the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Oversee the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Contribute to program development by building community relationships and educating people in the healthcare system and community about the program.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain employee files to the expectations of regulatory agencies.
- Operate the center within financial expectations.
- Ensure center staffing is maintained and reflects staffing ratios.
- Ensure the center meets quality metrics.
- Assist with oversight of evening and weekend on-call procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
