About The Position

The Site Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students and staff. This role coordinates activities, supervises program personnel, maintains communication with families and school staff, and supports student success through high-quality enrichment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the after-school program
  • Enforce parent sign-in/sign-out procedures
  • Take and maintain accurate daily student attendance records
  • Contact parents daily regarding students absent from the program
  • Communicate snack and/or meal quantities needed and maintain proper records
  • Implement and execute safety measures, including emergency drills
  • Ensure a safe and organized environment for students and staff
  • Monitor all locations used at the end of each program day to ensure rooms are returned to their original condition
  • Supervising and supporting program staff and students
  • Maintain a visible and active presence throughout the program
  • Provide open lines of communication with staff, students, and families
  • Maintain knowledge of and enforce all district policies, procedures, and SACC licensing standards
  • Support all staff in completing required training and documentation (i.e., background checks, CPR/First Aid, Medical Statement, etc.)
  • Keep all compliance documentation in the file box provided.
  • Submit all required paperwork and documentation, including new or updated staff requirements, to the Program Manager
  • Ensuring a structured, positive and high quality learning experience for all students
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support high-quality lesson planning and implementation
  • Collecting and monitoring required data for compliance
  • Maintain detailed records related to district policies and grant requirements
  • Assist with scheduling, reporting, data collection, and program documentation
  • Facilitate the collection of requested data
  • Intentionally build relationships and maintain ongoing communication with staff, parents, school administration, the Program Manager, and community partners
  • Work collaboratively with school administration to share ownership and support the overall success of the program
  • Plan and host quarterly family engagement activities and events
  • Promote engagement with community and neighborhood partners
  • Attend required trainings, meetings, and professional development opportunities
  • Possess knowledge of, and enforce, policies and procedures, including those related to SACC licensing standards
  • Collect, verify, and submit accurate bi-weekly timesheets to the Program Manager
  • Manage the program building budget and follow proper district processes and procedure
