About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. The intern will work alongside and take direction from the Project Management team, overseeing and monitoring project-level documentation according to Knobelsdorff standards. Responsibilities include assisting with job reporting, crew timecard entry, inspection documents, material delivery/inventory, and project closeout documents. The role also involves creating and coordinating reports, trackers, and status updates, organizing construction storage, and supporting field personnel on site. The intern will attend tailgate meetings, assist with preconstruction preparation, and coordinate with project teams to support daily execution. Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required to support project schedules.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel nationwide to the designated job site.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that represents a history of safe & competent driving.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside and take direction from Project Management team.
  • Oversee and monitor project-level documentation, adhering to Knobelsdorff standards.
  • Assist with job reporting, crew timecard entry, inspection documents, material delivery/inventory, and project closeout documents.
  • Create, prepare, and coordinate reports, trackers, deliverables, status reports, and other materials as needed.
  • Organize and maintain construction storage container, including tools and construction materials.
  • Assist field personnel on site to complete projects, as needed.
  • Attend “tailgate” meetings prior to work to discuss jobsite hazards, JHA completion, daily objectives, and best practices.
  • Assist with preconstruction preparation and coordination.
  • Coordinate with project teams, field personnel, and site leadership to support daily project execution.
  • Support site needs during occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work as required by project schedules.
