About The Position
An engineering firm is seeking an experienced Senior Site Civil Engineer to complement their fast-growing team in their Cleveland office. The role involves designing and drafting engineering plans for various projects, performing site grading, storm water management calculations, and storm sewer design. The engineer will take a leadership role from project due diligence through construction, coordinate project execution, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Pond Pack and Hydraflow preferred
- P.E. registration preferred
- Experience with site development documents and permitting preferred
Responsibilities
- Design/draft engineering plans for various projects including retail, commercial, residential and municipal developments
- Perform site grading, storm water management calculations, and storm sewer design
- Take leadership role of project from due diligence through construction
- Coordinate execution of projects
- Mentor/train junior staff
