About The Position
Givens is Driven to Deliver- both for our customers and our employees. Since 1957 we have provided our customers a single source solution in warehouse, distribution, transportation, packing and crating and air freight services. We have been growing significantly over the last few years and continue to grow at a rapid pace. We are looking for Forklift Operators to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, loading and unloading 53' trailers, flatbeds and containers as well as preparing material for shipping.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience required
- RF scanner skills
- Dependable with strong attention to safety
Nice To Haves
- Experience loading and unloading trailers preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely
- Load and unload trailers and containers
- Move and stage materials in the warehouse
- Pull products and prepare them for shipping
- Use RF scanners to track inventory
- Inspect products for damage or shortages
- Wrap pallets and maintain a clean work area
