Givens has grown significantly over the past several years, and we continue to grow at a rapid pace. We are looking for an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Columbia, SC. This position is responsible for receiving materials, loading and unloading 53-foot trailers, flatbeds, and containers, and preparing materials for shipment. Learn more about Givens at www.givens.com
Requirements
- At least one year of recent sit-down forklift experience
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift
- Unload materials and move them to the appropriate warehouse location
- Load and unload 53-foot trailers, flatbeds, and containers
- Identify damaged products or shortages and report them to the appropriate personnel
- Properly use RF scanners
- Meet established productivity and on-time performance expectations
