DAYTON-GRANGER, INC. (DG) is a third-generation family-owned aerospace manufacturer in Fort Lauderdale, FL that has been proudly operating for more than 83 years. We design, test, and manufacture aircraft antennas, electrostatic dischargers, and lightning protection components used on commercial, military, and private aircraft around the world. As our SIOP Manager, you will lead DG’s Production Control team and play a key role in developing and implementing our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. You will oversee master production scheduling and capacity planning, strengthen alignment between customer demand and manufacturing execution, and drive improvements in operational efficiency and on-time delivery. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in production planning or materials management within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving high product mix and complex production scheduling requirements.
3+ years of formal leadership experience directly managing production planning, scheduling, or production control teams within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing Master Production Schedules (MPS), with strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), including production scheduling, material availability, and inventory requirements.
Proven experience with infinite and finite/constraint-based production planning, including labor and capacity scheduling, resource allocation, and management of production constraints.
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, or significantly improving SIOP/S&OP processes, including establishing planning workflows, cross-functional coordination, and performance metrics to align demand and supply.
Strong working knowledge of ERP/APS systems, preferably Infor, including production scheduling, material requirements planning, inventory planning, and capacity management functions.
Strong knowledge of inventory planning, materials management, and material replenishment processes, including inventory requirements, purchasing lead times, and material availability.
Demonstrated success improving production planning workflows, scheduling processes, material flow, and material availability to support operational efficiency and on-time delivery.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production planning tools, including data analysis, forecasting, and operational KPI reporting.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Sales, and Finance.
Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Nice To Haves

Experience in aerospace, defense, medical devices, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing certification.
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or other applicable manufacturing quality management standards.

Responsibilities

Provide direct leadership and oversight of the Production Control team, ensuring team performance and alignment with operational and company objectives.
Oversee the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring alignment between customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and inventory requirements.
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of DG’s SIOP process to establish an integrated approach to demand and production planning.
Oversee production and capacity planning to identify and address labor, equipment, and material constraints that may impact production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
Establish, monitor, and analyze planning-related key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, material availability, and master schedule adherence (MSA).
Drive continuous improvement in production planning, scheduling, materials planning, and material requirements planning to improve operational efficiency and on-time delivery.
Ensure ERP system data accuracy related to production planning, scheduling, and material requirements planning, including investigation of discrepancies, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Stockroom, and Shipping & Receiving to address material shortages, replenishment requirements, and supplier-related constraints impacting production schedules.
Utilize data and analytics to improve demand forecasting, production planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain visibility.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Sales, and Finance to align production priorities, resolve operational challenges, and support company objectives.
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the Production Control Department.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Follow all DG safety procedures in accordance with company policies and the direction of the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.
