About The Position

This role is for a Single Use Technical Applications Specialist who will utilize their technical expertise in biopharma processing and interpersonal skills to generate sales of Single Use Technologies within the MilliporeSigma portfolio. The specialist will work closely with the sales force, providing tactical/strategic insights, product and process technical information, and project support to increase sales and identify new opportunities. This is a remote position, with preferred locations in California or Arizona. External applicants must be eligible to work in the US and this role does not offer sponsorship for work authorization.

Requirements

BS in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent.
5+ years in or servicing the Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably with knowledge of sterile filtration and Single Use Technology.
Previous customer-facing and/or sales experience.
Ability to travel 30-50%, primarily within the US, with occasional international travel for internal meetings.
External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Life Science, Engineering or Business.
Highly motivated, adaptable, and self-directed.
Strong communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, prioritization, and organization skills.
Experience working in a global matrix organization.
