Single Use Technical Applications Specialist (Remote)
About The Position
MilliporeSigma is seeking a Single Use Technical Applications Specialist to join their team. The company is dedicated to innovating with science and technology to enrich people’s lives across Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics, and is looking for curious minds to contribute to human progress. This role requires utilizing technical expertise in biopharma processing and interpersonal skills to drive sales of Single Use Technologies within the MilliporeSigma portfolio. The specialist will support the sales force by providing tactical/strategic insights, technical product and process information, and project support to secure additional sales and identify new business opportunities. The position is remote, with preferred locations in California or Arizona, and does not offer sponsorship for work authorization; applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
Requirements
- BS in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent
- 5+ years in or servicing the Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Industry, preferably with knowledge of sterile filtration and Single Use Technology
- Previous customer-facing and/or sales experience
- Ability to travel 30-50%, primarily within the US, with occasional international travel for internal meetings

- Master’s degree in Life Science, Engineering or Business
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and self-directed
- Strong communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, prioritization, and organization skills
- Experience working in a global matrix organization
Responsibilities
