The individual assigned to this position will support the Simulation Center and Simulation in Motion–North Dakota (SIM-ND) through grant development and administration while assisting with simulation education, curriculum development, and program implementation. The duties and responsibilities of this position may be completed through a hybrid work environment and flexible work arrangement. The employee may perform work duties in a hybrid working model. The employee will perform job duties and responsibilities in the office as requested by the immediate supervisor and as department needs and workload require the employee to be in the office. If the employee’s job duties and responsibilities are not needed for in-office work, the employee may choose to work remotely or in the office. If the employee chooses to work remotely, they will communicate that to their supervisor and coworkers. Remote work hours will be considered the same as regular office hours. Shifting work hours outside of regular office hours may be allowed if approved by the employee’s supervisor. If work hours are shifted, the employee may be required to be available by phone, and other employee work needs will need to be addressed during regular office hours. If the employee is unable to complete duties and responsibilities in a remote location, the employee may be requested by the supervisor to resume work in the Simulation Center.
