About The Position

The Orvis School of Nursing Program at the Lake Tahoe campus is looking for a temporary, hourly Simulation Lab Assistant that provides operational support. The assistant must handle responsibilities including preparing simulation labs, organizing supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory, transporting materials between the Tahoe and Reno campuses, and supporting simulation and skills lab activities. Training will be provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in healthcare, simulation, education, inventory management, customer service, equipment setup, or related fields is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reset simulation labs and skills labs for scheduled activities.
• Organize, stock, inventory, and maintain simulation supplies and equipment.
• Transport supplies and equipment between the Tahoe and Reno campuses.
• Assist with basic simulator setup, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized learning environments.
• Follow university policies and safety procedures.
