Requirements

Current enrollment in a 4 year or longer STEM degree program
Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and associated languages (e.g., C++, Python).
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, JMP, Excel, etc.)
Welcome the use of advanced mathematics combined with software development.
Comfortable as a domain visitor, able to comprehend the operations/performance of complex systems at a semi-technical level.
US Citizenship is required for consideration, as this job requires the ability to obtain a US government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Entering junior year or later at the time of the internship
Preferred majors include: Mechanical/Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics
Secret level clearance
No current clearance but eligibility to obtain

Responsibilities

Support the design, implementation, and testing of digital models, simulation frameworks, and analysis tools for various government programs, commercial industry partnerships, and internal research and development efforts.
Develop an understanding of the modeling & simulation pyramid and how different levels are connected.
Learn and grow professionally, gaining real-world experience and helping solve challenging problems.
Witness and contribute to advanced digital simulation tools used to inform decisions at the highest level.
Apply academic knowledge to projects in an operational environment.
Participate in interactive sessions and experiences through the Infinity U program, including technical briefings, military terminology, professional communication, career development, and understanding benefits.
Connect with employees and leaders, and gain a broader understanding of how different teams contribute to the company's mission.
