About The Position

The primary focus of this position is the development of radar threat simulations that will be used during Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) software testing and validation. Tasks performed may include, but are not limited to, radar signal parameter analysis/interpretation and radar signal simulation development. This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or related experience
  • Knowledge of general coding fundamentals
  • Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Knowledge using standard Microsoft Office Tools (word, excel)
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use
  • Experience with GitLab & CI/CD style workflow
  • Experience using Excel functions
  • Background knowledge in RF (antenna theory, RF theory, etc…)

Responsibilities

  • Understand how a system functionally operates and use that information to create radar simulations using a proprietary language Simulation Modeling Framework (SMF)
  • Discern which design and functional characteristics of radar systems affect which characteristics of an emitted radar signal
