Simulation Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor
About The Position
The Loewenberg College of Nursing (LCON) at the University of Memphis is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Simulation Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor position. LCON is dedicated to preparing nursing professionals focused on promoting health and achieving health equity globally. The college's baccalaureate and master's programs are accredited by CCNE and approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing. LCON provides a variety of programs for a diverse student body, including BSN, Accelerated BSN, RN to BSN, MSN concentrations (Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, and Nursing Leadership), a PhD in Nursing, dual-degree options, and highly-ranked online courses and graduate certificates.
Requirements
- Masters degree plus 2 years of simulation experience.
- Documented evidence of ability in instruction, service, and research.
- Served 3 years at the rank of assistant professor (exceptions may be approved by the provost).
- Professional comportment consistent with the Faculty Code of Conduct.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- The university is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
