As an instructor, you will promote and coordinate the teaching-learning activities for students within the BSMH Simulation and Certification Center. You will coordinate and serve as the primary instructor for certification courses, including Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program, providing remediation as needed. This role involves collaborating with the director to determine student needs and develop effective healthcare scenarios for human patient simulation equipment. You will provide instructional support to improve student competencies and skills, maintain and update center facilities and equipment, and develop learning materials. The position also includes scheduling CSC use, ensuring OSHA compliance, maintaining professional competence, and demonstrating age-appropriate patient care knowledge and skills. A unique responsibility includes preparing and driving the simulation ambulance to and from Bon Secours locations and outreach sites, ensuring safety during transport and loading/unloading of equipment, and maintaining a safe driving record.
