The Payroll Administrator is responsible for payroll data entry, payroll-related tasks, and other operational support tasks. In this position, most of your time would be spent assisting our employees over the phone or e-mail, so exceptional communication skills are a must. Location: Avon, IN ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: PAYROLL Manage and track payroll system which includes a daily comparison of timesheets for the accuracy of employee time. Daily updates to the payroll system for attendance File all payroll documents which include a weekly report to corporate for incentive pay, upload documents and statements into the payrolling system Maintain monthly PTO schedule by tracking vacation, sick and personal time off Assist employees with questions about hours, pay cards, and update the payroll system with change of address, W-2's and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and timekeeping. Manage department and bill rates Manage ID badges OPERATION SUPPORT/ADMINISTRATIVE/CUSTOMER SERVICE Maintains Human Resources records by recording new hires, transfers, and terminations Monitors daily punch for all employees and updates attendance spreadsheets for management while maintaining daily hours, attendance, and total staffing reports Keeps track of employee attendance points and creates verbal, written, and final warnings as needed Provide holiday lists to management Completes and fills work order request Handles all other clerical and administrative tasks required to keep the office running smoothly daily EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word Knowledge of Distribution Center operations and procedures Effective presentation and communication skills. Prior experience in a distribution center/warehouse preferred Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location.
