About The Position

The Silicon Photonics Testing Manager will lead a team of optical test engineers, responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining top engineering talent. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to define testing priorities and deliverables, and working with the design team to establish test standards across multiple PIC product lines. The manager will also be responsible for creating, maintaining, and presenting testing reports, maintaining clear records of testing data, and identifying opportunities for test automation, working with internal teams for implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on laboratory experience in photonics, semiconductor, or optoelectronic device testing.
• Experience with testing PICs, III-V devices, transceivers, or fiber-optics.
• Proven experience leading a team of test engineers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated experience with developing and executing test plans.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and deliver on schedule.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RF testing is desired.
