About The Position

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Signals Development Analyst to support mission-focused analytical and operational efforts within a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will analyze communication data, identify patterns, and help improve how information is collected and interpreted to support operational objectives. You'll play a hands-on role in ongoing operations, contributing to system oversight, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to build real-world analytic experience while working alongside a team focused on solving complex challenges in a 24/7 operational setting. We're looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to dive into complex datasets to uncover meaningful insights. You should be comfortable working with technical tools and systems, applying structured problem-solving skills, and clearly documenting your findings. This role supports continuous operations with fixed (non-rotating) shifts. Available schedules include day shift (0545-1345), swing shift (1345-2145), and mid shift (2145-0545), with coverage that includes weekends and some holidays. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values ongoing learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or similar role
• Experience working with modern communication or network technologies, such as: Telecommunications systems, Network-based communications, Internet protocols or infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience working with technical tools, systems, or databases
• Ability to clearly document findings and communicate insights
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph.
• DOD 8570 Certification
• This position requires an active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and areas of interest
• Support efforts to improve and refine analytic and collection processes
• Assist in developing practical approaches to solve real-world problems
• Evaluate communication activity across a variety of modern technologies
• Use analytical thinking to turn data into actionable insights
• Work with technical tools, platforms, and datasets to perform analysis
• Contribute to documentation, reporting, and knowledge sharing
• Support system monitoring and help troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and analytic methods
• Participate in training and ongoing skill development
• Support a continuous operations environment as part of a shift-based team
