About The Position

Leidos is seeking an experienced Signals Analyst to perform technical analysis of signals in recorded and live environments. You will operate signal collection, processing, and analysis equipment; evaluate new and previously unexploited signal data; diagnose and process payloads; and communicate technical findings through published reports and briefings. You will also collaborate with analysts throughout the Intelligence Community and maintain awareness of related analysis efforts involving the signals you support. Understanding complex and previously unexploited signals requires disciplined technical analysis and the ability to turn detailed findings into information that can be shared across the Intelligence Community. As a Signals Analyst, you will help characterize signal data, analyze payloads, document technical findings, and provide analysis that supports broader mission understanding.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph, at time of Application, to be considered for this position.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Signals Analyst supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Four (4) additional years of Signals Analysis experience on projects of similar scope may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Operate signal collection, processing, and analysis equipment.
  • Analyze signals from recordings and in live environments.
  • Diagnose and process standard and non-standard bit- and packet-level payloads.
  • Oversee the development, deployment or collection, documentation, and evaluation of recordings of new or previously unexploited signal data.
  • Write and publish technical signals and payload analysis reports.
  • Prepare complex technical reports documenting analysis results.
  • Present technical briefings on analysis findings in accordance with Government direction and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with analysts throughout the Intelligence Community and maintain awareness of related analysis efforts involving supported signals.
