About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated Signal Processing Engineer to join the Advanced Phenomenology Department at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University. You will assist our research efforts to develop novel sensing and estimation strategies that facilitate data-driven decision support. Under the mentorship of our R&D staff, you will utilize state-of-the-art tools in machine vision, UxV autonomy, and data processing. Your work will support a unique problem area that have applications in defense, manufacturing, law enforcement, security, and disaster relief. Our highly collaborative team is comprised of adaptable, curious, creative, lateral thinkers with both traditional and non-traditional backgrounds and multidisciplinary points-of-view. We offer opportunities to grow, explore, and experience multiple roles, and we encourage team members to pursue higher degrees and certifications in their field of study. ARL is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes all transitioning military members to apply.
