Signage Detailer
About The Position
Innovative Environments is seeking a Signage Detailer who shares their mindset of creating signage that makes an impact and complements architecture. In this role, you will work on highly customized projects, translating creative concepts into precise, buildable 2D and 3D fabrication drawings for various environments including multifamily, corporate, trade show exhibits, and branded spaces. Your work will be crucial in bringing complex, visually compelling designs to life. Requirements
- 3+ years of Signage detailing experience
- Strong proficiency with CAD software
- Experience creating shop drawings or fabrication drawings
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to interpret design renderings and technical concepts
Nice To Haves
- Experience in multifamily and corporate signage
- Experience creating CNC cut files
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop a plus
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Vectorworks and Illustrator
- Convert design renderings into fabrication-ready shop drawings
- Develop CNC cut files and bills of material
- Prepare graphic layouts using Adobe Illustrator
- Coordinate dimensions, details, and construction methods
- Ensure drawings account for cost efficiency, durability, and installation
- Review and coordinate third-party shop drawings
- Maintain organized and accurate project file management
- Work closely with design, project management, and fabrication teams
- Provide technical clarification to production teams
- Update drawings based on client feedback and design revisions
- Participate in project and production meetings
