About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Sign Shop Tech to assist with producing and assembling a variety of signs while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. The role includes operating sign-making equipment, preparing materials, assembling signage, maintaining the work area, assisting with inventory, following safety procedures, and serving walk-in clients. The schedule is three days per week, up to 24 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Compensation is an hourly wage commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sign shop or print production experience.
• Experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate sign-making equipment, including printers, cutters, and laminators.
• Prepare materials for sign production, including measuring, cutting, and weeding vinyl.
• Assemble signage and apply graphics to various surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to walk-in clients.
