About The Position

The Sign Shop Systems Operator I assists with engraving, vinyl
work, graphic design, wide-format and other sign-making operations. Completes
simple product installations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.
• Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
• Knowledge and experience in Digital Printing, including wide format.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Corel Draw.
• Experience with vinyl plotting, cutting and installation.
• Experience with design.

Responsibilities

• Operates each piece of production equipment in the Sign Shop
• Masters installation techniques
• Enters jobs into the MIS
• Creates work orders
