About The Position
The Sign Shop Systems Operator I assists with engraving, vinyl work, graphic design, wide-format and other sign-making operations. Completes simple product installations. Independently operates each piece of production equipment in the Sign Shop and masters installation techniques. Enters jobs into the MIS and creates work orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
- Knowledge and experience in Digital Printing, including wide format.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Corel Draw.
- Experience with vinyl plotting, cutting and installation.
- Experience with design.
