About The Position

Mercury Signs, Inc. is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Sign Project Estimator/Consultant/Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role where you'll be at the heart of our sign projects — from initial client consultation and cost estimation all the way through project completion. Requirements

Prior experience in sign industry estimating, project management, or sales/consulting.
Strong understanding of sign fabrication methods, materials, and installation processes.
Excellent communication.
Proficiency in estimating software, project management tools.
Ability to read and interpret site plans, architectural drawings, and specifications.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SignAgent a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for custom sign projects including materials, labor, and installation focused on bid projects for multi-family housing, education and corporate campus-based and multi-use developments.
Consult with clients to assess signage needs, recommend solutions, and develop project scopes.
Manage sign projects from kickoff through installation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Coordinate with design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Review blueprints, site plans, and specifications to inform accurate bidding and project planning.
Maintain and grow client relationships through exceptional communication and follow-through.
Track project timelines, budgets, and vendor/subcontractor performance.
Ensure compliance with local permitting requirements and sign codes.
