About The Position

This is a full-time, 10-month, 181-day position effective for the 2026-2027 school year. The pay rate is based on the Instructional Assistant Grade C13 Salary Scale, with credit given for years of full-time experience in a related position.

Requirements

• High School Graduate/GED Hold or eligible for Virginia Quality Assurance Screening (VQAS) Level III, or a passing score on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) Written Test along with a minimum of a Level 3.5 on the EIPA Performance Test or any other state qualification or national certification (excluding Certificate of Deaf Interpretation) recognized by the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing as equivalent to or exceeding the VQAS Level III
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
