About The Position

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong listening skills, memory retention, and clear expressive signing, collaborating with staff and clients to ensure effective communication access.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Proof of passing/completion certificate of an ASL Interpretation course
Possess a good memory since an interpreter will need to remember what has been said in order to accurately translate
Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development

Nice To Haves

Educational Interpreter certification - this can be obtained through us!
National certification by RID certification is preferred
