About The Position

SkyRite is hiring a hands-on Sign Installer Service Technician to install and service illuminated and non-illuminated signs and lighting. The work is physical and outdoors, and may involve working on lifts, rooftops, ladders, and trucks. Technicians help install signs, repair lighting, investigate outages, and support customers’ visibility. The role offers a training path to develop trade skills and pursue licensing as a Journeyman Sign Electrician, with opportunities for more complex projects and leadership roles.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Reliable work ethic.
Comfort working at heights and using ladders, and performing physical labor.
Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Sign experience is preferred.
Some MIG welding experience is a plus but is not required.
Electrical knowledge is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate sign trucks.
Help install and service illuminated and non-illuminated signs and lighting.
Read drawings, review job specifications, and follow applicable codes.
Load the truck with tools, materials, and equipment to minimize return trips.
Communicate with the office, crew, and customers.
Use checklists and document completed work.
