About The Position

Onsite Sign is seeking a full-time Sign Installation & Service Technician Apprentice for their Warman Branch. Onsite Sign, based in Lloydminster, AB, is a leading sign manufacturing company in Western Canada with installation divisions in Calgary, Acheson, Regina, and Saskatoon. This role requires an outgoing individual with attention to detail.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using manual & power tools.
Loading/securing materials & hauling experience.
Fluent with computers and handheld devices.
Ability to lift up to approx. 50 lbs.
Able to work at heights (in excess of 15 feet).
Experience working in various weather conditions.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy & flexible.
Overtime and out of town work involved.
Must have a VALID 3 or 5 Driver's Licence, clean abstract, and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Safety certification in Fall Protection, Aerial Lift, Cargo Securement, Hours of Service is an asset - training is provided if needed

Responsibilities

Read and understand drawings related to sign installation.
Inspect freight.
Use manual and power tools.
Load/secure materials and haul.
Assist with servicing and troubleshooting signs.
Consistently demonstrate sound safety practices and completion of required safety documentation.
Work at heights (in excess of 15 feet).
Work in various weather conditions.
Work alone or as part of a team.
