Installation Apprentice
About The Position
Under close supervision of the Service & Install Supervisor or Lead, helps Installation Journeymen and Apprentices lift and set-up of signs and other support functions. Assists with lift and set-up and take-down of signs, assesses and stocks truck with tools, assists with installation of lights and electrical service, cleans up job sites, and follows all safety guidelines and regulations. Marginal duties include cleaning, stocking, and maintaining equipment, digging holes for sign supports, and performing other necessary functions as assigned. This role involves interaction with installation journeymen, apprentices, and leads.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience involving demonstrated abilities in construction including power tools and electrical experience
- Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities to meet critical deadlines, as well as working independently
- Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing
- Strong work ethic with an enthusiastic, positive attitude, and the highest level of integrity
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain regular and timely attendance
- Ability to climb, crawl, bend, lift 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment
